any image reference sites for modeling?
I want to start learning modeling for games and i am reading a book right now and I also watched all videos from Ben Mathis (loved the videos! although i am a Maya user) but i am afraid i don't have the same concept skills as he has. Do you guys know of any links where i can find some cool character concepts with images… -

im not sure about the concept stuff. But for refs you really can't go wrong with http://www.3d.sk,well worth registering if you are intending to go seriously into 3d,the price might seem abit steep but you can't get refs anywhere near that kind of quality anywhere else. John -

Thanks for the link, some great stuff there. I was thinking more of a character concept, with images side and front that i could bring in maya and start modeling, you know, like a character model sheet, HA! again, maybe i am asking too much. Thanks -

Got3d should suit your needs just fine. Click the "Free Textures" link up at the top. It's all the free human reference you'll ever need!
