my idea is that what is happening now already happened in the past. Which means that they are in a loop that they cant leave. It will start all over again. For example, in the dharma videos miles dad had a problem in one of his hands, and in the last episode we see why. He screwed his hand when the crane fell on top of it.… -

Well, why? Why do you need a demonstration? Faith is a big part of Lost - whether that's spiritual faith, faith in humanity or anything else.
