Ha I got the same Moleskine :P And I so hear you about the cheap materials thing - when it comes to penciling I only use the cheap bic mechanical pencils that one can find pretty much everywhere in the world I think. Actually I have one of them grip ones that I keep refilling, it's still working after years of use haha!…
Oh I could definately scan a few pages from it if you want, I got a signed copy of it as a farewell gift from my former AD who happens to be the new Storm penciler, yay!
a few alien sketches I had floating around colecting dust, Scanned them in and lined them up. I use a technical pencil on normal printing paper if anyone wonders (never used anything else outside the computer)
very interresting technique. i hope that one day there will stand a person in front of me, holding a electric erazor in his hand, looking into my eyes & speaking the following words: "here for you." oh and its just 2B pencil with a bit of patience
I did a couple apes recently. I just realised I hadn't drawn any ever and thought it best to correct that I can't stand those moleskines! Too small and smooth and bleh. Give me a robert bateman A3 and an HB mechanical pencil and it'll keep me busy ...these are photoshop though.
great stuff everyone. here is a birthday present for a friend of mine, he called me yesterday at 5pm that we will begin the barbecue/chillin/drinking session at 8pm, blame for me that I fully forgot his birthday, so I picked up my beloved 2B pencil & started getting something on paper. never worked with such a deadline…
