No its 32 bit, no fsaa.... Is there a way to run it in windowed mode btw? Having to use it in fullscreen is rather anoying, esp if i wanted to use it for texturing.
Is anyone else unable to launch Xnormal after the latest Java update? It worked just fine for me before the update and now it won't launch due to "access path" issues. I got Java 8 (64-bits) and Java 7 U55 (64 and 32 bits) installed after the latest update. I'm running xNormal 3.18.7 (64-bit).
Hey people. I hope this issue hasn't been answered a 100 times. I searched this thread and the forum in general but did not find any usefull information to 32 bit normalmaps, which I guess are a large part of my problem. I'm expeirencing some issue with the new toolbag, although I have to admit I have encountered such…
Are you using WinXP 64bits or 32? 3Gb of ram using WinXP 32bits is DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See this link: http://www.gehrytechnologies.com/catia/catia/catia_windows_large_memory.htm [ QUOTE ] Some driver may not load correctly when /3GB switch is added to boot.ini [/ QUOTE ] WinXP 32bits can handle usually 2Gb max... The…
Normal maps and AO maps only. Other kind of maps are not really possible because are so complex that will pass the GPU 32 registers/thread and the performance will suck. N-gons = evil You must save your settings as XML file ( for instance, 1.xml, 2.xml, etc..). Then just pass the filenames through the command like:…
Hi, been having a problem baking AO today. I've not been using the simple AO tool (didn't like my meshes) so was just doing it the old fashioned way. The normal maps and texture bakes worked fine, but I get this result with the AO: It's using a bucket size of 32, and I've tried different samplings but the same thing…
I'm trying to install the 64 version on my new comp with a core duo, but I get an error message saying "An error occurred attempting to install xNormal v3.9.4 Beta 1 (64-bits x64)." Details say: "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor." I checked online to make sure…
@velesius : That sounds like a graphics driver problem, the n-th bug of WinXP 64 ( perhaps caused by a Windows Update's patch ) or a problem with some theme. Btw... are you sure your graphics mode is set to 24 or 32 bits and not 16? @EarthQuake : The preview does not show the background color, because the .NET bitmaps…
[ QUOTE ] Same memory errors, for no apparent reason. Whats most frustrating about this is that its erroring when its trying to dilate, after the map is actually rendered. Surely no reason to being using gigs and gigs of memory if you're only doing a post thing to expand the pixels on the image, right? [/ QUOTE ] Yep, only…
