it's a tank on a grass it's got bad uvmap on a pair of 32x32s just a 3dfart in 40 mins total, including the grass i couldn't turn off the bilinear filter in time.
Might do up the rest of the crew when I'm done texturing this one. 492 for the character, another 40 for the pistol. Fullbright. Pyro, Medic, and Engineer are pure winsauce.
^^^what he said! also with such low res texture work you should make the fruit much larger for readability. IE 8 red apples is better that 40 red dots.
Those 20 minutes would have been better spend on modeling a silhouette only and not texturing at all, or on making a concept sketch. If you want to improve, go in batches of an hour, about 20 minutes modeling, 40 minutes texturing.
Thanks for the suggestions JMiles. I agree I shoulda used an alpha channel for the hair, I don't know why I didn't to be honest! I'll give it a shot, I should be able to save at least 40 tri's by doing that which will as you say, allow for some better curves on the body. Thanks again.
