   I map the lower button on my pen to middle click, and set it to change brush diameter in openCanvas, which I use for sketching. That's pretty much it, I don't use it for modeling.    When I press the button on my wacom pen,a secret door opens in my house . I always get there just too late though.

   Its quicker and simpler this way. The button is designed to be replaceable so it doesn't hurt it. I probably wouldn't miss it, even if it did break come to think of it.

   mines mapped to X, so in photoshop it switches between the two colour doodads

   my wacom talks to me...i hear its voice...it surrounds me :| and i only use pen lol , i dont use anything else, maybe i should ?

   I pull the switch off the pen when using Zbrush as I find it just gets in the way and duplicates the mesh at inoportune moments

    Yes, profiles for the MX1000 would rock, I can't remap the hotkeys in Blender and don't want to reconfigure the mouse between playing games and using Blender...
