yep! I really miss that feeling of weight that the bulk of the Q2 RL gave. After I finish this project i'm working on right now i'll finish this one up. Then hopefully onto some character work!
Hey, MoP. Intensity slider... top right... where? What is the exact term for the slider? All I see is the "Edit Curve" below it. No slider popped up. Do you mean "Z Intensity"? EDIT: Waitaminute... I just figured it out. It IS "Z intensity", right? Saves each transformer's Z intensity settings. Ahhh. For some reason…
I'm doing all the animations from scratch. (anyone wanna help me? :P) Looks like i'll be learning a lot on the fly.. It wouldnt look right to see someone running with force skates!:D And the model doesnt fit the q4 bipeds by a long shot anyways..
You could try making an iflate dot as an eye and sculpt the eyelid over that. Or you could make the eye in projection master. Mop: that looks sweet, i only have one crit, and that is that she looks too gentle and kind right now. Make her more menacing!
Are you going to use a default animation for her or hand-animate one yourself? That's the one area I'm dreading if it going to be a real-working character in game. Anyway, she's looking good. From Appleseed, right? I'd love to see her big cyber boyfriend, Briareos, too.
Zatoichi: There is a slider for Smooth intensity. Click on the Smooth brush (don't just press Shift), and change the Intensity slider at the top right. Then switch back to Std brush, and whenever you hold down Shift and paint it should use the intensity you've set before. Vahl: Great news!
The face looks overlit and a little bit better now that I figured out how to turn the auto compression of the textures off (image_usePrecompressedTextures 0). With the specular all black it still looks too bright. I'll make the skin color a bit darker because it's very light right now. Maybe that helps.
fookin eck, you're making a fair go of it.. great so far. I kinda agree with mop about making tech outside zb, but on the other hand you're pretty handy with the ol zbrush and I reckon if you kept going with it, and a bit of pinching in the right places you'll shake off them lumps for sure
Naw, it looks fine. Though, I would put more of a unique twist on the viser for his eyes. That seems like something you could improve. Right now that area is sort of bland. I like that cross-laced arm stuff you got there. Perhaps you could put that on his legs somewhere as well.
