TPE: Your keyboard doesn't matter, it uses control codes. That's why it's bound to circumflex on my keyboard. That's annoying because it'll add the circumflex to the line I'm typing and no allow me to have a colored name in Q3 without cfg editing because ^ constantly toggles the console.
My Observations: Bummed that the Strogg dissipate when they die ala the doom demons. Seems like Raven didn't even TRY to come up with a different way to fade them out. I HATE the machinegun sound, especially in multiplayer when EVERYONE is using it at the same time...makes me wince. Levels look amazing, seemingly higher…
sledgy: But if it took over half a year for QuakeWorld to come out and make playing Quake online actually worthwhile, why use it as an example, then complain that Quake4's multiplayer isn't worth it? For all we know, there's a pack or update coming out in 2007 which makes it even better than any of the previous games.

My impression so far is i'm not preordering from any company ever again. =p 3 games in a row i've preordered havn't come in untill a few days after release... I'm installing now. =p I just bought it from EBGames.
