I can forget about amassing enough cash to buy my own island and turn it into my own little paradise. It looks like that has been done for me! Oh wait its in a part of the world that has worse weather than I have now... Do you think we could get them to relocate their island of Man farther south, say... to the equator?… -

The Isle Of Man is not part of the UK, or the EU for that matter, though it does commission the UK government to represent it internationally and handle its defence. This page will explain more about the politics of the island. -

Wow, you know I didn't actually realise that the Isle Of Man was an independant country. I just thought it was part of the UK or something. But still, 100% broadband coverage with free broadband access for individuals and businesses? Sounds like they're doing something right over the UK. -
