Hello, I'm having a weird error where everytime I extrude and edge, the corresponding face's UV separates and fills the whole UDIM. I've pressed 3 and seems like the faces are intact, not sure why the UV looks like a white square. Does anyone know why or how to fix this? can't model a thing at the moment. .
I haven't used it but I have seen an Extrude and preserve UV's in Bonus Tools. But trying to keep UV's alive at same time as modeling does seem like exercise in frustration to me. Sometimes I use edge slide with preserve UV's but that's more during modeling tweaking phase, not creation
Isn't it kinda the same, no matter the app? Its easy enough to solve on this cylinder but how would it solve it j case you extrude something from say... A head ? Just do the UVs after the Modelling, not way before you are done
