[Geometry Nodes] 'Realize Instances' node remove rotation information
Hi folks! So, basically I had to use 'sample curve' and 'set position' nodes and for that it is necessary to 'realize instances' first, this removes the rotation I had done to the poles before...Is there a way to preserve the rotations or transmit them to the post-realized instances? Why not just do poles first and instance them on the curve after .It seams curve to points node already have tangent and normal , no need to cross product anything either ? Just saying , perhaps you still need it that complex for some reason. -

Hello! Yes, I want to create as procedural of a tool as possible, in a way you can decide to use or not the upper extension. Sometimes you have to accomplish a (root) process in order to go to another one. Is there a way to get the rotational information from the first board? And shouldn't the 'Sample Curve' node be more… -

You still can do what I suggested : input generated post to the instancer , not other way around . Here I did it in your file
