Hello, so what I want to know is what would be the right way of creating cloth of the character for the production ? some recommend to have that body mesh underneath the clothes so it can be more realistic when it comes to animation of folds. So, to leave body mesh under the clothes or to delete those non visible body mesh…
It you want to run cloth simulation on the cloth parts, you need something under it to collide with. If you are fine with static folds, and movement only from the leg skinning, body under the cloth isn't needed.
