   In maya is it possible to create a hotkey that can toggle on/off - Use Default Material in the viewport ? Thanks

   Any reason that doesn't work? Looks like an already assigned one by default Just to confirm, I changed it to alt+6 and that is working fine for me. You get to that menu via: windows> settings/pref > hotkey editor

   Thank you Alex for explaining, thats exaclty what i wanted. I thought it was a lot more complicated than that. Thanks again.
