First thing to try: check if changing your dns to google public dns helps. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN is really a domain config problem, if you are visiting a major website, that's quite unlikely to happen. So checking against public dns is the best way:… -

I know there have been issues with posting images for some people and the Vanilla team have been doing things to fix it, so the errors you are getting may be to do with that. -

I've done all the above. My phone still connects better to the internet than my computer does for some reason. I downloaded another browser yesterday (Opera) but I found the performance was even worse. This was coming off a fresh install with no extensions/plugins so I found that to be really weird. Troubleshooting slow internet involves the same process every time. -Update all your software -Test multiple devices on the same network. It may just be one device or even just an application on that device -Test multiple sites. If only one site fails, it is not a browser issue. If more than one site fails... -Test those… -

By machine time, do you mean the literal system clock & date? Yes, it's correctly synced. I also just changed to the google public DNS. -

Bumping this thread for a possible solution. Edit: Downloading the newest GPU driver helped with the internet, but it made all my 3D modeling apps slower. :| Since it's more important to get my work done, I rolled back my drivers until I need faster internet again. I forgot a step. Try both browsers in a new user to isolate if the issue is within system space or user space.
