Any online courses you recommend?
Hi there! ^^ I have been working with 3D for about a year now, pretty much self taught and with much luck got the possibility to start working in a mobile AR-game project. I am going to take a online course in 3D on my spare time to develop my skills further and wonder if you guys have any recommendations? It doesn't have… -

I second the Gumroad tutorials. There are a lot of hidden gems there, some of which are created by the best artists out there and are really worth the price. -

I wouldn't suggest wasting your time trying to translate Maya/Max tutorials into Blender unless you are very confident in your knowledge of Blender. Learn one of the main packages. It'll pay off later. You can get a free 3 year student license through for either Max or Maya through Autodesk. You can always take your… -

I will look into them, I think I will find something that fit my needs :) I actually use Blender atm, but I am thinking about learning max or Maya since that seems to be mainly used in the industry. what do you guys think? is it doable to learn max or Maya through any of these… -

@Brian "Panda" Choi for rigging I highly recommend Rigging Dojo, they have a character rigging 101 and facial rigging 101 class that really go in depth and give you good foundations. I'm currently taking the rigging 101 and learning a ton within just the first few weeks. -

okay, I will focus on learning either max or Maya then. I am no student anymore though, so I will have to pay for it or get it through the company. Thank you so much for your advice! :) -

It is sad that gumroad does not have a rating system, multiple times i have spend money on something that i have regretted because of the lack of information. But I agree with you, there are some hidden gems there. -
