Just doing some experiments in Substance Designer again. This time the substance is the procedural structure generation. I made something similar to this for a production, but wanted to explore more design possibilities.
This started as a basic carbon fiber material, then evolved into being your best friend. Say hello to Companion Ball. Substance Designer is so much fun.
Hello everyone, It's been a while since I've updated this. This post is just me playing around in Substance Designer. I'll add more images of the environment hopefully within a week.
Here are some initial textures I made in Substance Designer. These are only first pass and will definitely need some adjusting to tone down some noise at the very least. I'd like the textures/shaders to lean more towards the stylized or exaggerated side to keep the fantasy and anime feel.
