[WIP] Duke (from Duke Nukem 3D, 1996)
I'm participating in the Retrogasm contest and I've decide to do a "remastered" version of Duke Nukem. I thought this contest might be a good oportunity to make a character (I'm more of a hard-surface guy) and try to improve my organic modeling/texturing skills. I don't have much time to work on it but since the deadline… -

Some more progress done. Duke has now pants, boots and sunglasses. I'm thinking I might need to make him bulkier, a little bit more Schwarzenegger and less Stallone: "Hail to the King, baby!" -

Nice character choice! I think you're right about bulkiness, in that box-art he has quite a thick torso. -

I haven`t decided yet on the pose, depends on how much time I have. It has to be a game character so I'll have to rig it first :sweat: -

Oh, man - loving this! He's extremely thick in the upper chest for sure - can't wait to see his gear on! Are you going to pose him just like the box art?
