   Hi, I'm a student digital arts and animation and I'm trying to create a nice animation piece for my reel. I've done most of the blocking and some of the detailing right now, but it just feels really boring and flat. Any critiques or tips on how to make it more alive/ fun to watch or just better are really appreciated!…

   my main note is it feels waaayyy to similar to the original scene your getting the audio from - its basically beat for beat an exact copy I would come up with something more unique and original https://vimeo.com/81604937

   Yes I did use that clip as my reference. I think I will be discarding this piece and do something more creative as you suggested, thanks :)
