Hey hey! I've decided to avoid clutter by compiling some work to one image where applicable. Let's kick this party off with some sketches. I went to the zoo and that prompted me to do a bunch of drawings. I tried to put an imaginative spin when I could to get out of my comfort-zone. It was fun to do the T-rex as the…
A bit of fun from the daily study group: And some hands for good measure Feeling a lot more confident again, perhaps time to do something bigger Toodles!
I saw FZD post an exercise when they draw possessions of a character and decided to do the same. Great fun, Im planning to do more. A pair of small Jakub Rozalski studies, trying to breakdown his process, brushwork and workflow.
Evening fellas, its wierd painting and working digitally again after 4 months, figured it was best to ease back into it. Im gonna work solely to fire myself up again by having some fun for a week or two, once I feel a bit more confident again Im gonna go over some old projects and make up a new learning plan.
@birb Thank you so much for this incredible in-depth explanation. I don't have anything complete to show yet that tries to apply what you wrote down as it has been a busy week thus far with more to come. So I didn't want it to take two weeks without acknowledging your help. Will hunker down with this as soon as my schedule…
@Tosmo Thank you very much! I hear what you're saying and I left it as it is for now, if anything Im happy I got to atleast explore the perspective for future pieces. Doing the perspective you adviced proved to be a tad difficult for me, Im still trying to figure it out. Im gonna read some Scott Robertson and come back to…

And for our character design-piece I decided that a Rat Knight's Squire wasn't a fun idea for the type of character design that I had in mind and I decided to go…
The time spent away is real frustrating and Im trying to make my way back to the flow. I tried doing a painting project for fun but I couldn't seem to get through the initial stages on any attempt, all of it just feeling incredibly daunting even with references and having it all planned out. Mate tipped me off to FZD…
G'day everyone! Time for another post, I've been holding back real bad on this one, I felt like hadn't made enough progress to warrant a post till now so here we go: A lot of my focus has gone to perspective, been doing all kinds of exercises and drawings. My main issues here was keeping likeness and having a realistic…
Howdy! Prepare for a good chunk of posting today, I have a lot to show! First off: Taking a chill pill on the drawing to do some painting, I felt I had been neglecting it for far too long and as of this post I feel I have a steady flow on both disciplines. So here's two studies: The other one was created doubly to wrap my…
