Thank you Poinball! Day 44: Today I worked on yet MORE hardsurface. Did a retopo of the bellyplate (for hardsurface, NOT final) and worked some with turbosmooth. Will tweak it some more tomorrow.
Day 24, 25, 26: Minor detailing on several parts (and a lot of chitchatting), and worked on what I called the "skirtplate". Fine hardsurface almost done to prepare for sculpt detailing.
Day 13: My first day as a Twitch Affiliate! The hype is real :D Blocked the sheathe and defined the pauldron in a more accurate way. Will retopo the pauldron to take more care of that hardsurface. I usually do it in 3DSMax.
Because I got this question several times, I thought if would be a good idea to upload a super quick how-to of what workflow I follow to do hardsurface. Here it goes! I hope it helpes anyone out there :)
Day 14: Worked more on the pauldron. Did a retopology for the different parts to have them together on ZBrush as a detailed decent hardsurface. I will have to do some weathering and details tomorrow, but I think I will do one last retopo to project all this onto a final mesh
Day 39: Worked some more on the basic hardsurface of the boot. Needed to go back to the anatomy so I stopped there Day40: Redefined some parts of the anatomy that are important to me. Still need to work more on it, define more the chest/arms, legs, feet and hands, but here's the progress:
