Just keep going. There were a few times where I took long breaks and wasn't progressing. Sucks when I think about where'd I'd be in 3D if once I started taking it seriously I never stopped.
I suspect "do something about your damn mental health" might have been the most useful way to make my younger self a more productive artist, but in the spirit of the thread I think I'd go with: "You're working harder and longer than you ever will again, but the results are garbage. * Don't try to learn everything all at once. Focus on one thing and do it well. So with 3D, start with the fundamentals and don't worry about trying to learn every package going.
