Yeah you are right, made this on a late night dont think about that :D i will add a simple transorm node. No this are Cracks but they are distorted with different nodes. I posted on Artstation a screenshot of the nodes: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4qJmW
@jessnado what do you mean by brick generator, do you mean a tile random or tile sampler node? What I think is generally used and what is used is a shape node going into a tile random or tile sampler etc node and then tweaked in there to get different sizes, rotation, height etc then that comes out and then slope blur and…
Will you share the Curve Node graph set up with us? I'm really curious how this turns out. The Curve node is something I've been waiting to play with and see what others come up with just to soak in all the new tricks. @alexholmesl93
I've been using a node I created for bricks and stone with all kinds of custom parameters and feel this would be a good place to show off what it can do and try and get some critique on a material using it. I still need to get cracks set up with a Pixel Processor node.
ahh classic slope blur set to min, I feel like I will see that node a whole lot in the future ;) I ended up giving the 'Paint wear' node a go, alongside a tip from this thread, https://forum.allegorithmic.com/index.php?topic=3060.0, for some peeling edges to the chips. Still much tweaking to go! I
@picto This video by Allegorithmic, narrated or taught By Wes explains the Pixel Processor node and sets it up as @Adelphia has in the image he provides. If you have time to go through the entire video, go for it. If not, this PP information will be invaluable. I have the link set to the time where he starts talking about…
@JoachimC Thanks for the tips! Yes I agree the contrast could be tweaked and yea the moss was only a little mess around I was going crazy with the nodes haha! :)
