@Blond yeah FK/IK matching is a pain. There are tools out there meant to take the pain off of it, might give those a try. you can extract torso motion out to locators and use those to drive the IK controllers for segments when you need it, or just use them as guide to key the IK arms.
I would do the left arm in IK when its planted on the leg - and then switch it to FK when you gesture. That will allow you to do your body moves and keep that arm planted again your leg. If you hate switching then I would do the left arm in IK the whole time - will just take a lot more keys to get it feeling "non ik"
Sorry for asking all of these questions but I have well experienced animator friends telling me that my arms feel IK sometimes and fixing it with arcs and tweaking is not as simple as I'd like it to be. FK-Ik switching is a pain for me.
Hello @NuttyART & @kee - Yeah the Stepped > Spline workflow is a nightmare haha I have tried so hard to keep the same feeling im hoping its close. I am struggling with it though.
