Well its time to get back at it, i've been working on this korra fan art from the awesome redesign done by Den Rodichev this is my progress so far still lots of things to refine, hands are still very wip, pants need more detailing, the head is not finished yet, in general all the belts and clothes will need some polishing…
Hey thank you man! and regarding the fur, usually if i'm sculpting the hair i will probably sculpt the fur too in order to maintain consistency in the model same goes with fibers, but i think you can always break the 'rule ' if you manage to make it good looking
Just an update for this model, been working on the clothes.. did and redid and redid the fur going to move on and polish the hair and whatever is left to do
Awe yessh the first model was awesome, and the Kora redesign is looking really cool!! Are you planning on modeling the fur or perhaps making it with fibers? With stylized work I'm always torn between the two.
Awesome style on this Korra concept. I feel like its a cross between Mei from Overwatch and Korra from Avatar. The stylized fur is nice. ZeroStrike no zbrush 4r8 for this one, for the fur it was mostly deformed spheres modified to look like strands of hair merged together and sculpted on top of that, and yes i agree with you i still need to improve a lot on the faces! that is and area that i still find difficult to achieve haha, thank you for the feedback…
