1. 3ds max Gizmo, Why don't the transform tools appear when I hit qwe or r?

   Hi guys! I'm not sure what button I hit. But my gizmo looks like this now, and I can't transform (move/scale/rotate/interact) with objects in any way to continue working on my scene. What did I do??? The gizmo appears to only show the axis', but never the move tool, rotate tool etc. hitting q,w,e, or r changes what axis'…

   Yeah. This is actually useful, to be able to hide the clickable gizmo, when you're doing precision work like 3d snapping along a single axis. You can also hide the gizmo and use F5 thru F8 to switch the axes. So the gizmo is out of the way.

   answer is ctrl shift x in max 2016... or just x in older ones. darn.
