When i read other's messages, i remember that i use snapping from f11 menu and i think it's wasted time mostly. I'm also planning to make left menu for myself for modelling tools to add Core UI. If i can make something usable, i can share it here. From what i've read from foundry forums, repete won't find enough time for…
Mostly, i really liked it. I was thinking to make transition from max to modo from time to time and was always feeling it will take too much time for me to customize modo interface. I downloaded and used your UI and having really fun. Except couple of things. Firstly, i think modelling tools are very hidden. I set…
No can do folks with the snapping functions, wont work with that type of form !!! If I get the chance to come up with something new I will post it first here.

Thanks for the post Bek. Yes my videos do drag on B) and it's a workflow/UI that wont suit everyone. It's best just to try it out for a week and if you dig it that's cool and if you don't that's cools. I can see the Foundry doing an over haul of the UI (they really need to do this) in the future until then core ui might…

The tools are always available on the top tool bar and you can customise further by adding or removing what you need or don’t need. You can also assign a Hot Key to any tool bar. To install just drop…
Hey repete, long time lurker - but just wanted to say that I appreciate very much all of the time and effort you've put into Core UI. I've been a long time modo user and not surprisingly..lurk more on these forums and luxology alike. Truth be told I was about to convert entirely back to Maya as I use it most for work, and…
So I had a chance to play around with CoreUI; and my feelings are mixed. While I like the idea of having one persitent toolbar at the top with all your commonly used tools, I couldn't (perhaps if I gave it more time) get used to using floating (pinned) pallettes for my tools. Having the tools properties in the one spot is…
@genwu I'm using the custom toolbar :] It's probably due to me not knowing how to accomplish what I'm after. I'm trying to copy over the default snapping button, but when I copy the form and place it under CoreUI custom toolbar I get that weird tick box without the functionality of the default button whatsoever :skull:
