Hi, I have been working on a simple character model and have encountered an error while creating the UVs. When I try to unfold the model's head, the nose geometry gets stretched greatly, distorting the UVs. Any help would be great, I'm unsure what to do about this, except for redoing the nose from scratch. Thanks!
You need to cut more seams around the nostrils. UV unwrapping isn't a magical process. You have to give the algorithm a chance by knowing where to cut seams. You're trying to unwrap a shell that is impossible to flatten out.
