I encountered a bug with LazerCut: What I did: I used Array, set it to preview and changed the values, than I saw that it was cutting while removing the cylinders. Undoing it crashed Max :) If I shift clone as instances and Undo no crashes so far. I wanted to use Array to have better control (I love using numbers :love: ) -

Don't use Array, it creates and deletes objects on the fly without undo records which is incompatible with max Booleans that we're using. If you prefer to use numeric input, you can use Linear Clone modifier (or multiple stacked above each other if you want n-dimensional cloning) or alternatively if you'd for some reason… -

And or you can use KeyHydra linear clone modifier and or circular clone modifier and or both at same time. It will… -

I just downloaded Keyhydra, and it seems really cool, just tried some lazercut features and they worked fine, I miss a lot the shift-clone feature, but as I can see, it's coming in a future update, will I be able to use Array 3ds max feature? I love radials ^^ I will keep trying this plugin, I can see myself using this. -

@Jean_Pierre_Seiler Swordslayer is Lazercut’s programmer. However I still recommend you to use LinearClone Modifier on your cutter object and or Circular Clone modifier as they can be stacked. Lazercut was born because I had to make a really complex vehicle still under NDA ... Without Lazercut well ... can’t think of… -

@jesusblasco : technically, anything that clones the selection as instances should work (so Array and Spacing Tool as well) though you have to be careful with tools that 'preview' the end result - they do it by cloning cloning selection and then cleaning up but the new boolean object won't be cleaned up. I just started playing around with LazerCut and haven't used anything else so far. @Cathodeus should I still make a video? @Swordslayer answer sounds like it is a known issue :) (still can do if it helps!)
