I think you could easily make a script that does what you want and bind it to the move keys (move whole shell on U or V by 0.01 or something). In Maya at least, it's very easy to do, it might be easy to do in C4D too.
When you say Pixel what do you mean exactly? Pixel - UV Editor/Monitor Space or Texture Resolution Space. Seems like you're trying yo match UVs, have you tried transfering UVz from one mesh to the other and using it as a starting point?
