Did some sketching today in the MFA in Boston. Little thing, about 3 inches across. Not happy with the proportions, not looking all that neo-classical. More practice needed!
Someone asked in email for a closer view of the river shader. This is slightly modified from the original, but essentially it's the same setup. This one mixes 3 textures (R,G,B) instead of four, removing the need for an alpha channel and improving the performance a little.

No trouble with tiling. The distortion texture is a normal map that I made in Photoshop so it tiles already. Then I just scroll it across the UV's of the leaves mesh, so it endlessly moves along, distorting the UVs as it goes.
