Hi Polycounters.. Finished the Idle animation for my lowpoly Haunter remake.. Loosely based on the Pokemon Stadium idle animation. Any suggestions on how to improve it? I'm liking it a lot, feels like a perfect representation of pokemon. I do agree, if you were to stagger the animation on the hands by just a few frames, it'd really make it pop
Thanks everyone, really appreciate the feedback! Agree on the hands symmetry.. offsetting them by few frames should do the trick. Glad its getting some love, its my first ''serious'' attempt at animating a character.. will tweak him some more! Thanks again.
The animation looks great! Nice job! :D Something seems to strike me as odd when the "tail" hits it's lowest point though. I think the tail simply sinks a bit too low, but that's just my take on it. 0-1 sec or 20-21 sec for the best view.
Not sure how you might improve it, it looks great to me. Really cute! Sorry I couldn't say anything more constructive, I just wanted to tell you how awesome it looks! : D
