The quality has been slipping for years at Gamasutra, the last year has been particularly bad. Gamedev.net is a site that is actually about making games, and is better than Gamasutra ever was. It's not really a news site, more of a general development resource.
I use n4g.com for gaming news as well. It's basically a hub for people to post links to articles from other sites. It's where I found out about DSOGaming which is another good news site IMO. I mostly look at DSO for like visual/graphical type gaming news.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I've re-organized the list, and will continue to curate. Keep the sites coming. Especially ones targeting devs specifically.
