And it starts again… If it so simple, guys, release your own software. Or send your resume to Quixel. I'm 100% sure that «closed beta» is just about textures/new software version. As been said, website is missing. You don't even know how much traffic it will generate and how much it will cost. You can make some calculation… -

The best way for them to proceed would be to start at the lower end, for example make textures up to 4K available (to limit bandwidth), when they feel more comfortable up it to 8K etc. One does not have to empty the magazine in one blow. -

Will there be an easy way to import/replace the standard megascans materials with the high res 4/8k scans on release? For example batch importing 20 materials at once or something similar? Not a big deal to do it manually but it would be a nice integration step to even access the scans you own from the DDO menu. -

Thats my point, there is no support, nothing. They put Eric here on the forum which has to handle all the problems which are bascially just linked to the bad or unfinished software development of the quixel suite. Allegorithmic is just a perfect and i mean a really perfect example of how companys should do it. Very good… -
