They're doing reverse dark knight returns I think. As in, superman is the scary alien bad guy that must be stopped. And batman is just the person to stop him.
Here's the thing, it's not like if they stop making superhero movies there would be a sudden influx of smart, thought provoking cinematic masterpieces. The people always like their schlock, and frankly I prefer this to buddy cop movies.
"relate-able" is indeed a far better word choice and indeed more twoards what I meant. I love a great suspension of disbelief but if I cannot relate to the characters enough then I just cant get invested too much into there plight and struggle. To much of, oh come on dude you can fly and stop bullets, stop crying and being…
The thing I always find funny, is how the cowl always requires black makeup, around the eyes. So I guess batman always stops, to throw some makeup on? And it magically disappears, when the mask is taken off.
Some info from Michael Wilkinson on designing the costumes"for those interested" https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=14&v=WSAO2Ff09SU (note: costume talk stops around 3mins and frank millers upcoming dark knight 3 comic info starts)
I suspect it will be Batman identifying Superman as a threat, and not trusting anything he says. He'll do the typical Batman thing, of playing nice, but remaining suspicious of Superman's motives. Together, they'll work to stop Lex Luthor, and then they will gain mutual respect for each other.
was excited, then the latest trailer basically just says hey here's what the moment is that you should look for when the movie stops becoming superman v batman. I swear to god I hate it when trailers do that. Especially if a character supposedly "dies" in the film but I know it can't be because I saw them in another clip…
First, sorry everyone this went a bit off topic. "Fun is a potential force. Every entertainment product is fun relative to a degree that is relative to what came before it. The best film ever made will remain the best film as long as no other film is made better." well, this is irrelevant..... I enjoy eating carrots,…
You seem to have missed out some pretty important context that image. Straight from the words of Batman himself: "If Clark wanted to". And that's basically the entire argument over and done with. IF superman wanted batman dead, he'd be dead, and there is nothing anybody in the universe could do to stop it. In fact it's…
Suicide Squad will follow Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice next year, and even includes a cameo from the Dark Knight himself. But will Superman be appearing as well? Unfortunately not. Henry Cavill gave Metro.co.uk a firm “no” when asked if he’d be in Suicide Squad, though he remained hopeful that Superman could appear…
