I saw some kind of questions regarding this but I just want to be sure. We only can use Diffuse and Alpha maps, right? No normal, emissive, specular maps allowed? Diffuse and alpha only.
What texture types are allowed? It sounds like it should just be the diffuse, but would alpha be allowed as well if that's the case? Yes alpha maps are fine.
Can i use realistic way on Character section? or it must be handpainted like in game model? We are looking for stylized characters and environments for this competition. That means no normal maps and hand painted diffuse textures.
+1, does this just mean 1 X 2048 diffuse map for the whole character including weapons, props, etc? Basically all fit onto one map? Yes. Everything on one (1) 2048 map.
