Hey everyone. I am very new to the Polycount forum and Blender as well. I plan on using Blender to create game objects in Unity. I have been following the Blender Noob to Pro wikibook, but would also like more learning material in video form. What are some well known resources for learning the majority of what Blender has…
CGcookie is the most well known tuorial webiste for Blender : http://cgcookie.com/blender (with the basic tutorial : http://cgcookie.com/blender/cgc-courses/blender-basics-introduction-for-beginners/ ) but for asset creation there's probably some good youtube channel but I don't know enough.
Neal Hirsig's Tutorials are how I learned Blender. Easy, bite-sized videos that go though all the basic commands and settings giving practical examples of each.
As others have mentioned, CG Cookie is a good starting point. There are other tutorial sites as well once you get comfortable with Blender. http://www.blenderguru.com/tutorials/ http://www.cgmasters.net/ https://www.youtube.com/user/CGAstym/videos
