I see a lot of people saying this but I'm not really sure why. Cars were in previous FF games like FF7 and FF8. This looks no different from renting a car and driving it around the world map in FF8 except now your driving will be interrupted by gigantic monsters and some beautiful art (I know I'll be stopping to admire…
The point I'm making is, from a gameplay perspective, driving here looks the same, if not better than it was in FF8, so there's literally no reason to be complaining about it unless you weren't a fan of it in 8 (and most people were fine with it in 8.) It's like people are now complaining for the sake of complaining. I…
FF4 made its way to PC today, and the Japanese site for FF13 now has a Steam logo on it indicating it might come to PC soon. I'd guess FF15 might also just make its way over, although I'll still pick up a PS4 for it.
The graphics are incredible, the only thing that bothers me is the character designs. It's that same old tired Nomura look. He does the same thing in every game, and I'm surpised people are still eating it up. His work was good in 7-10 but even in FFX it it was starting to get a tad ridiculous, now it's just cringe worthy.
>Year 20XX >Make updated FF7, get told SE is trying to be Nintendo >Make create your character, get told this isn't HL2 and that mute characters have no place in this age >Add voice with advanced tone changing system, get told cheap technology is doing VA work >Mark perfect FF game, get told they are setting the standard…
Why not go the create-a-character route? In FF12 the kid you start out as, who I thought was the main character, is such a blank slate non character they could have easily let the player customize their own avatar. The fact that the FF fanbase is always pining for a return to FF7 sort of shoots down the idea that they want…
Aw, I am so torn on this... On one hand, I find the overall look and feel to be gorgeous, with great color choices and an definite unique style to it all ... but on the other hand, watching the fast paced-battle videos ironically makes me want to take a nap (as in, I am feeling tired just imagining myself playing them).…
I haven't played a Final Fantasy game since FFX but the animations look really solid. Also, is it just me, or did anyone else have this pop into their head when they were riding in the car @ 00:30 in the trailer? :D [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9ny0HT1gQg"]Final Fantasy XV: Orange Mocha Frappuccino![/ame]
