Hey Neox, I answered one of your questions on the other forum. Also, if you are interested, I haven't found a way to remap the two pen side buttons, but it is possible to use AHK to remap: - the Windows/Home button (or also to disable it) - the Volume Up/down buttons - the single- and double-click actions of the top pen…
Hi Ravenslayer, You can download a zip file containing the test program from MediaFire.com: This is just a small toolbar (completely independent of Toolbar Creator) that I developed to test strategies to use mouse buttons. You can launch it by double-clicking the exe file (and stop it by right-clicking on the tray icon).…
Oh wait i was lying, the back button you can configurate you can switch it from Onenote to Onenote Desktop yep they did this in a driver update, but didn't open up any key for any button :D
you can most likely configure that button with a third party app called radial menu, thats already doable on the Surface Pro 3. But yeah i would also prefer out of the box solutions by Microsoft. The button presets are barely usable on the 3 front is leftclick as usual next one is right click but you need to click with the…
Yeah, I don't know how familiar you are with AHK but you can easily get software-dependent remaps if you use #IfWinActive. The codes for the volume buttons and the Windows button can be found in the ahk file that this guy uploaded:…
@swizzle: do you use Zbrush on it without the typecover? if so: are you using some kind of toolbar? the best toolbar imho I found yet is this one: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/artists/61676-suit-shortcut-ui-toolbar.html but you cant resize the buttons, so its pretty tiny and hard to target with my fingers. also, you…
I watched some video reviews and the general consensus is that the Surface Books are awesome laptops but have some limitations for production art. Not super strong, 3D wise, so you can work but not really efficiently. Also, the pen lacks a second button AND you can't configure that button. So ... maybe next iteration.
yeah remapping those penbuttons was the first thing i wanted to do btw i cant get any of the tools to react in zbrush, i can click the buttons but it just doesnt perform the action. being able to toggle a ctrl or alt button would already be a good start but even that doesnt seem to work over here
