@PyrZern good work! So the secret is bigger texture maps...one thing that I heard is that using cages are no good if the character will be passed to the next guy in production, but that is only right if you do a lot of modifications in cage right? @lukazguzman Very well then, work hard in your next project!
I'm using 4k texture maps right now. One for all the clothing. Another for the skin and hair and beard. (will lower the skin one to 2k map when it's done.)
@PyrZern lol yup fibermesh for the hair. My poly count is 30.549 Mil right now crazy. yeah I'm going to add more detail to the face I also have to make his shoes and hands.
Hey Guys! I'm little slow, because I'm trying to figure out how to configure the xnormal to do a good bake (google my fav teacher XD), and learn right how to do all the textures...here are the normal+occlusion But now I think I done this right, I just done that part to test and apply to the low mesh. What do you think? Now…
@lukazguzman For a first female character, I am very impressed. Most people make wider hips but forget to tilt the angle, but it looks like you got it right. I'd say, just keep trucking, and things will look good as you progress.
@lukazguzman your right I have been plowing through it and have not done a silhouette check. I also had a lot of polys under other object what where never going to be seen. Plus the size of the high poly mesh was killing my laptop.
