oh i just noticed something in your "how to" image here: http://www.purepolygons.com/temp_images/polycount_7-27-2014/tut_03.jpg absolutely DO NOT make water very bright in your reflectivity map. water has an extremely LOW reflective point, because most light passes through it! water is around 0.02 linear reflectivity.
