   In Max 2014 (not sure if it's in earlier versions), by default, Ctrl+B is assigned to an action called "Sub-object Selection Toggle," which will jump you in and out of sub-obj mode. It works on any object or modifier that has sub-objects, not just ePoly, which means you don't have to spend time thinking about which number…
