   You can in fact use modelling/painting skills at your VFX compositing job to do (animated) matte paintings, for example.

   Thanks a lot for all the aswers! i liked a lot the "rude" replies. Reality hits hard, i know it. I also appreciate all the suggestion on the vfx career.
