Take the time that you spent on each piece out of your portfolio. That's probably more of a turnoff to employers. For example, it sounds like it took you over 3 years to finish your simple Lagoon scene?
I'm not sure if it's a big deal or not, but it required a lot of clicks and scrolling to get to a page related to a breakdown of some of the parts of your environment. The Division fan art, for example (which was amazing, by the way) has a pretty confusing breakdown page. There are like 50 screenshots and a ton of text…
