Relax, take a chill pill. Kind of amazing how some are trained to get offended over perceived slight. You might not be aware, but its a nod towards a lot of the language being used by critics after the film released, suicide was used often to describe their experience. The Transformers and TMNT cartoons ruled my childhood. This doesn't feel that close to the iconic theme/style that TMNT had goin for it. When I'm looking at this, all I can think of is.. Batman's coming to save gotham again.. Plus.. where's my nerdy Redheaded yellow jumpsuit wearing reporter? -

I wouldn't be mad as long as they didn't break the core recognizable features for April O'Neil or just completely make ninja turtle faces unlikable and they look like ogres so what's up with that, it's borderline uncanny valley how it's animated too with this unfitting voice. The trailer also feels like a parody of itself. -

Come now, your own child argument works against you here. What audience will these over-sized mutants attract and market to? Not children. Tween boys. I can very well see this movie scaring younger viewers. The uncanny valley, and again the whole monstrous size of them. There might be more behind what the preview shows.… -

It's Guardian's second week, there's always a drop but Guardians is currently the best second week sales of the summer. Turtles first weekend is $65 million compared to Guardians of the Galaxy's $94 million opening weekend. I did read an interview today (I think with the director?) where he talked about the main concept of the Turtles is the brotherhood and how that is the real core of it all. Obviously this is just a teaser, so who knows if they got it right, but if so then the movie could have some heart. Also, can I nerd out about how much… -

Very funny article. Here's the question I have. If the mutagen in film is supposedly able to give anyone super-healing abilities, why would the antagonists come up with some hair-brained scheme to poison an entire city?
