When I go to Export Selected Objects I get an error that says "Some files could not be exported!". I have the cryexport node set up correctly and I have added the attributes to it and set it to .CGF. The material exports correctly the only thing that doesn't is the mesh. On the mesh I have frozen the transforms and deleted…
I guess it must be broke because the official exporters work fine. As for the units CryEngine does use meters but they must want it exported using centimeters because when I validate the model it says "The linear working units should be set to Centimeters". Oh well I will just go back to using the official exporters.…
Checking the MayaCE3 website: Are you sure it still works? Have you tried the official export methods? Edit: CRYENGINE uses meter so switch to meter in Maya as well.
I understand here are some images. MayaCE3 Exporter Error: Outliner: Attributes: Channel Box for original mesh: Setting/Preferences: If there is anything else that might be useful just let me know. Thanks.
if your using the newest version of CryEngine, it may be the resource compiler that is missing from the build. http://www.crydev.net/viewtopic.php?f=369&t=76713 I believe I had this issue a while back with both CE3 export and CryTiff, the above solved it.
Yes I am using the newest version (3.5.6) but I already copied the RC files over earlier when I downloaded CryEngine beacuse the Settings Manager said that it couldn't find the RC executable but now it can so I don't think that is the issue.
