   Does anyone know any image viewer that lets you view images on top of program. For an example when I am working in Maya with some environment images I want the image to actually stay there over Mayas display without disappearing when I click on somewhere. I hope you understand what I mean.

   xnview and most others i've used have an option to make them sticky. however - give floaty a try - it lets you change the opacity of the overlay window and does not have a clunky interface like most to clutter the view. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99709

   Doesn't Maya have an internal picture viewer?

   Irfanview has never let me down. It's old, but awesome nonetheless
