Thanks for the suggestions, guys! MatID will be included in the Baker before the end of the beta. Thanks for the suggestion, HaloAnimator! I will add it to the list and see what I can do! Glad you enjoying the new functionality! Thanks for the suggestions! Thanks, Hideous! I plan on making a bunch of tutorials that will…
Andy, can you create a tutorial on how to work around the missing UDIM feature in Knald? I have no idea how I could do that in Blender. You once wrote a single-line instruction for me in private mail, but I need a more detailled instruction. If I remember correctly, you said that it was a no brainer.
Hey everyone! We made a short video tutorial on baking for everyone to check out :) In this short video we show how to bake an asset quickly & efficiently with the outstanding quality that Knald has become known for. All in a fraction of the time of other baking software. We generate eleven 4k*2k bakes with 16xAA…

You can see this in the Speed Bake tutorial I made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHyyoZrI8Qc In regards to the UV offset, I'm not sure making a video could explain it any…

Keep in mind that I can't add support geometry to my models because they are all CAD models with explicit normals. Modifying the mesh in any way will mess up those normals.…
Hey everyone! Sorry for the belated replies! Knald can currently bake vertex colours from FBX or from OBJ (polypaint). We we look into the ability to bake from a texture for a future release :) 1+2, Sub-mesh and name matching support is on the list of things to do for a future release. 3, We will look into an elegant way…
