Would you mind doing a video including the Blender workflow and import multiple meshes in Knald? I'm more the visual type of learner. It wouldn't need to include any fancy audio. It might be good in general, given the number of people who are seemingly also looking for a UDIM solution in Knald.
When you think you'll include UDIMs? Currently my model looks like that, and I have no way to change that. Unfortunately I can't unpack the UDIMs, and baking everything in a single map is no option for me.
Currently we just use the normals that are included with the imported file, but I can see about perhaps adding the ability to override them during the beta. No promises but I will see what I can do. :)
Has anyone suggested expanding on the AO baking options? Maybe including a Skylight option like Topogun has? Or maybe Point light baking? Maybe with interactive point light placement? :D Software is great btw.
I am loving the new build for curvature maps... perfect timing for things that are hard surface like weapons. Also I wonder if we will have control for AO Brightness and Darkness... would be useful for this in mouth interiors... also will multiple low poly/matching be included in future builds...?
This is a real pity because - due to the software that I'm using - this is not easily possible. Do you think it's something that you will actually include or is "hope to add in the future" your way of saying "Yes, when I have a looooooooooots of free time"? It would make my life so much easier.
Thanks for the reports and suggestions! Currently LP meshes don't update automatically but the HP and Cages will update once you hit bake. We are working on having the LP meshes update currently so hopefully it will be included in a build soon Regarding that error, could you please upload the meshes for us to take a look…
