Hey guys; I've been working on an Axe Weapon but when I try to Skin it to the bones in the Model given by Valve it gives me an error and I can't compile it. It says that it can't find the bind pose for a heap of joints. D: Anyone else encounter this error?
Yea I have tried that; the thing I find odd though is that generally when you bind a mesh to a joint; when the joint is selected the mesh has a pink outline; that's not even happening now ><
Sorry mate, cant really help to much with Maya. Its worth making sure your exporting only the weapon model and the single bone skinned to the weapon though?
