Yeah I knew that. I was just pointing out that saying "it will work with all games" is a lot different that saying it has the software and potential to work with all of them, and even more different than an out-of-the-box experience. Thanks to the streaming, no, you won't have to abandon your windows games. You will be able to continue using any gaming rig you currently own, and just enhance it with a cheap SteamOS rig that you hook up to your entertainment center. Justin, a speaker is an example of a linear actuator - it's an electromagnetic coil that drives a permanent magnet, and that magnet is attached to the cone that makes the noise. In this case, the cone is the track pad. It's not a parlour trick - functionally speaking, it is a speaker. -

Dont forget Oculus Support and some of the newer 3rd party hardware coming out will also be giving the Steambox the edge when it comes to that kind of appeal and marketing prowess. -

I feel all options for the box they announced today will already come with the OS on it, Notman. They did say they have more on the controller soon, but i hope fridays announcement is more than just showing specs and controller. I want it to be an engine of some kind. Source 2 or whatever. -

Unfortunately Mark Laidlaw was pretty clear about the announcements being strictly Steam related: So I don't expect a game announcement, more a new controller. Hopefully in the coming months we will have some game goodness, you can't release new hardware without a proper killer app.
